Thank you for your interest in our MLP Domestic 70 days (14 weeks) Training & Assessments Course.

Please note: This course is available to all new entrants into the Gas industry and a work place portfolio is required.

All Candidates must be able to work alongside a Gas Safe Registered Engineer while building a Work Place Portfolio. Unfortunately We are unable to provide any Portfolio Work Experience with a Gas Safe Registered Engineer, this will need to be provided by your self or company in order to build your portfolio.

The course consists of 30 days in centre training and 40 days on the job Training alongside your Gas Safe registered engineer while building your Portfolio this is then followed on with five days ACS assessments which will include Domestic CCN1 + 1 Domestic appliance of your choice.

Additional Appliances can be added subject to you providing sufficient portfolio evidence towards that appliance, plus an additional fee per appliance added.

On completion of the MLP candidates wishing to extend their range or scope of work must have a minimum of 6 months Gas Safe registration before being able to apply for further Training & Assessments in your required field of work.

Example:

A candidate who has under taken the APL MLP with CCN1 + CENWAT can then after 6 months Gas Safe Registration apply to extend his range of work to include other Domestic appliances or to extend his scope of work into other fields IE. LPG, Industrial Commercial Heating or Catering

Week 1: 8th to 12th November In Training Centre

Week 2: 15th to 19th November On Job Training & Portfolio

Week 3: 22nd to 26th November In Training Centre

Week 4: 29th November to 3rd December On Job Training & Portfolio

Week 5: 6th to 10th December In Training Centre

Week 6: 13th to 17th December On Job Training & Portfolio

Week 7: 20th to 24th December In Training Centre

Week 8: 27th to 31st December Job Training & Portfolio

Week 9: 3rd to 7th January In Training Centre

Week 10: 10th to 14th January On Job Training & Portfolio

Week 11: 17th to 21st January In Training Centre (Electrics)

Week 12: 24th to 28th January On Job Training & Portfolio

Week 13: 31st January to 4th February In Training Centre (Assessments)

Week 14: 7th to 11th February On Job Training & Portfolio


Submission of On The Job Portfolio’s

The target date for the submission of all portfolios is 6 months after the course finish date (Exact dates will be given on booking)

Any submission of portfolios after this date will mean having to re-take the ACS Assessments at the cost for the CCN1 + 4 Initial course at the time.

Additional Appliance cost £159exc VAT per appliance


CCN1 + CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1

= £3,518

+ VAT = £4,221.60                              

The above price includes Training, Assessments, Portfolio Paperwork/Folder, Training Manuals, Certification fee’s and VAT.

Full payment is required on booking No places will be held until this has been received.

An Interest Free Personal payment plan with a 50% deposit on booking can be arranged. For more information please contact Michelle in the office. No places will be reserved until the deposit has been received. 

Payments can be made via card payment over the phone or via Bank Transfer.


Please Note

No Assessment paperwork will be sent off for Certification until we have received your completed Portfolio and the internal verification process has been completed.

Once the internal verification process has been carried out on the candidates completed portfolio and assessment paperwork, it will then be sent off to the NICEIC to be certificated which can take up to 6 weeks

No work can be carried out until you have received your certificates in the post and the operative is Gas Safe registered.

We do not register operatives with Gas Safe this needs to be done by their company or personally.
