Contract Catering Equipment started life in 1987 when Ray Costelloe kicked off on his own. With just enough money to cover the first months’ rent on one workshop at Bentley Farm, Langdon Hills in Essex, Ray set up on his own, doing what he does best – bending sheet metal. Now, 29 years later, the one workshop has now become two fully operational manufacturing factories with more than 300 years’ experience in sheet metal working between them, and Ray has known some of the workers since his school days.
After the growth and success of Contract Catering Equipment Ltd and with the expertise and loyalty of the workforce, Contract Catering Equipment became CCE Group Ltd.
CCE Group Ltd now employ 48 people and has now moved the business forward from high quality bespoke fabrication, evolving into a unique fusion of design, by means of communication for all the ergonomic requirements of today’s contemporary kitchens.
With their recent addition of a 2nd Design Studio in October 2014, CCE Group Ltd is keeping ahead of their industry by catering for the modern chef, helping them visualise their dreams, maximise the use of space and create the perfect working environment in terms of a fast and effective flow of service.
