Thank you for your interest in our APL MLP Domestic 60 days Training & Assessments Course (6 weeks in centre training and 6 weeks on the Job training)

 

Please note that this course is only available for Catt 2 applicants with relevant trade qualifications and a work place portfolio is now required.

We are unable to provide any Portfolio Work Experience with a Gas Safe Registered Engineer, this will need to be provided by your self in order to build your portfolio.

 

The course consists of 25 days in centre training and 30 days on the job Training alongside your Gas Safe registered engineer while building your Portfolio this is then followed on with five days ACS assessments which will include Domestic CCN1 + 1 Domestic appliance of your choice.

Additional Appliances can be added subject to you providing sufficient portfolio evidence towards that appliance, plus additional costs per appliance will be added.

 

As proof of APL experience we will require a copy of your NVQ or City & Guilds craft certificate in a trade associated with gas work.

 

On completion of the APL candidates wishing to extend their range or scope of work must have a minimum of 6 months Gas Safe registration before being able to apply for further Training & Assessments in your required field of work.

Example:

A candidate who has under taken the APL MLP with CCn1 + CENWAT can then after 6 months Gas Safe Registration apply to extend his range of work to include other Domestic appliances or to extend his scope of work into other fields IE. LPG, Industrial Commercial Heating or Catering

Week 3: 28th January to 1st February In Training Centre

Week 4: 4th to 8th February On Job Training & Portfolio

Week 5: 11th to 15th February In Training Centre

Week 6: 18th to 22nd February On Job Training & Portfolio

Week 7: 25th February to 1st March In Training Centre

Week 8: 4th to 8th March On Job Training & Portfolio

Week 9: 11th to 15th March In Training Centre

Week 10: 18th to 22nd March On Job Training & Portfolio

Week 11: 25th to 29th March Assessment week in Centre

Week 12: 1st to 5th April On Job Training & Portfolio

Week 2: 1-5 April, On Job Training & Portfolio

Week 3: 8-9 April, On Job Training & Portfolio

Week 4: 15-18 April, On Job Training & Portfolio

Week 5: 23-26 April, In Training Centre

Week 6: 29 April-3 May, On Job Training & Portfolio

Week 7: 7-10 May, In Training Centre

Week 8: 13-17 May, On Job Training & Portfolio

Week 9: 20-24 May, In Training Centre

Week 10: 28-31 May, On Job Training & Portfolio

Week 11: 3-7 June, In Training Centre (Electrics)

Week 12: 10-14 June On Job Training & Portfolio

Week 13: 17-21 June, In Training Centre (ACS Assessments)

 

Course Cost

= £2,500

+ VAT = £3,000                                 

The above price includes Training, Assessments, Training Manuals, Certification fee’s and VAT.

 

Additional Appliance’s can be added for £149exc VAT each.

 

£750 Non Refundable deposit required on booking No places will be held until this has been received, full payment must be received by course commencement.

Please Note

No Assessment paperwork will be sent off for Certification until full payment has been received and we have received your completed Portfolio

Certification takes up to 6 weeks and no work can be carried out until you have received your certificates in the post.
